Is Your iPhone Stuck On The Apple Logo? Here’s How To Fix It

May 25, 2023 •

You may have experienced frustration when your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo during startup. This issue can happen for various reasons, such as a software update gone wrong, a jailbreak attempt, or hardware damage. Whatever the cause, there are a few steps you can take to try and fix the problem.

It is essential to back up your iPhone before attempting any of these methods, as restoring or resetting your device will erase all data on your iPhone. To back up your iPhone, you can use iCloud or iTunes. To use iCloud, go to Settings > iCloud > Backup, and turn on iCloud Backup. To back up using iTunes, connect your iPhone to your computer, launch iTunes, and click on the “Back Up Now” button.

1. Force Restart Your Phone

One of the first things you can try is to force restart your iPhone. This can be done by pressing and holding the power button and the home button simultaneously (iPhone 6s and older) or holding the volume down button and power button simultaneously (iPhone 7 and newer) until the Apple logo disappears and reappears. If this does not work, try connecting your iPhone to your computer and restoring it via iTunes. Connect your iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes. Choose your iPhone from the list of devices and click on the Restore option.

2. Make Use of Third-Party Tools

You may need to use a third-party tool like Tenorshare ReiBoot to fix the issue. ReiBoot can help you fix various iOS system issues, including when iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo. Download and install ReiBoot on your computer, connect your iPhone, and click on the “Enter Recovery Mode” button. After that, click on “Exit Recovery Mode” to restart your iPhone. This should fix the issue, and your iPhone should no longer be stuck on the Apple logo.

3. Activate DFU Mode

Even recovery mode, which fixes issues more frequently than reboots, does not always work. You can try placing your iPhone in DFU mode if this is the situation you are facing.

Your iPhone has a startup issue if you’re still seeing the Apple logo after doing everything else. The Device Firmware Update (DFU) Mode pauses your iPhone mid-startup so you can connect it to iTunes, restore your iPhone, and restart it. First, connect your phone to your device using the sync cable. After that, carry out a hard reset using the modifications listed above.

What To Do If These Methods Do Not Work?

If you are still having trouble, it may be time to consider upgrading to a new device. You can trade in your old iPhone with reputable trade-in service providers. They offer competitive prices for your used device and make the process easy and hassle-free. Most importantly, you can rest assured that your personal information will be securely wiped from your device before it is resold or recycled.
